CLINIC SERVICES.
Guasha therapy is a traditional Chinese medicine therapeutic modality that involves using a smooth-edged tool, such as a ceramic spoon or a piece of jade, to gently massage the muscle group in a specific pattern. The technique is typically used on the back, neck, shoulders, and limbs. The acupuncturist will apply an oil or lotion to the skin surface before massaging the muscle group(s) with the tool. Guasha therapy helps improve circulation, reduce pain and inflammation, and promote healing. It's often used to treat musculoskeletal conditions, such as back pain and neck pain, as well as respiratory and digestive problems.
